Blood Of Christ - I.N.R.I. [SCAM 026] Recorded at Demilo Studios during February 1992. Produced & Mixed by Dave Rojack and Blood OF Christ
HISTORY Blood Of Christ was formed in the winter of 1990 by Tom Rojack (R.I.P.) (guitar/vocals) and Joe Towardzik (drums). during 1991 Tim Datsun (bass) joined the line-up and they recorded a very limited demo which had 5 tracks, which sold out almost immediately. After this recording Rojack parted ways with Datsun & Towardzik, and found new members Matt Sorg (guitar), Randy Scott (bass), and Joey Capobianca (drums).
This line were contacted by Seraphic Decay Records and the I.N.R.I 7" EP was released. The 7" EP was recorded in 1991, but wasn't released until 1992. Joey Capobianca would soon part ways with the band and would be temporarily replaced by Jim Konya of NunSlaughter, Minch fame. The drum position would eventually be filled by Rob Newlin, formerly of the band 'Burial'.
In 1993 Blood of Christ would record four song promo, but this would only be available to close friends & record labels. Blood of Christ would of been one of the first bands to sign with Necropolis Records, but sadly broke-up before an recording could take place.
Tom Rojack went on to join 'Decrepit' soon after, as did Matt Sorg. Matt Sorg (guitar) & Rob Newlin (drums) would also form the melodic black/death metal band 'From The Depths', and would be joined by other ex members of 'Decrepit'.
Matt Sorg currently plays for the band 'Ringworm'…
