Disgrace - Debts Of Gods [SCAM 007] Recorded and Mixed June 10th - June 12th 1990 at Akaan Musiikki Reklaami, Viiala, Finland
HISTORY Disgrace, along with their colleagues Xysma, was one of the seminal bands in Finnish grindcore and death metal scene. The early demos 'Beyond The Immortalized Existence' 1990 and 'Inside the Labyrinth of Depression' 1990 were more grind-orientated, but their first 7”EP in 1990 called 'Debts Of Gods' on Seraphic Decay Records, which sold 2000 copies and two years later the infamous “Grey Misery” LP selling five times as much are pure death metal.
During the last ten years, the sound of Disgrace has become more and more plain and simplified, as the band has concentrated solely on fast, rough and simple rock songs. The songs tend to be rather short and very intense, appropriate for their energetic live performances....
